Today's advisory class liked the idea of planting seeds and watering them based on the rainfall in the city named on the clay pot. Everyone did a great job and made advisory the highlight of a day filled with highlights. Now we wait to see if it rains in Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. Galyn Wiemers is the middle school shop teacher at Dallas Center-Grimes Middle School in Dallas Center, Iowa. Mr. Wiemers' classes in the shop consist of an introductory class for sixth graders, 18 modules for seventh grade that include industrial and technological projects and a nine week woodworking class where each eighth grader builds an end table from oak.
